NDBS Event

General Deptula is the world’s foremost expert on military aerospace issues. While focusing on airpower,  this program will take a broader view: what’s our national vision and strategy for a new era of great power competition and what are the implications for strategy, deterrence, joint force structure and alliances?

In his 34 years in the Air Force General Deptula was a fighter pilot with more than 3,000 flying hours and multiple command assignments in the F-15. He was he attack planner for the air war in Desert Storm and commander of subsequent no-fly operations over Iraq.  In his last assignment was the AF Chief of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. He is a board member at a variety of institutions; an independent consultant; and a world-wide commentator on military strategy and related issues.
